This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their marketing career in a dynamic and growing industry. You will play a meaningful role in supporting digital campaigns, content creation, events, and marketing operations while working alongside experienced professionals. 

The position offers broad exposure across multiple areas of marketing, allowing you to build practical skills, take ownership of projects, and see the direct impact of your work on Rodan's brand and business growth. We are looking for someone who is curious, organized, proactive, digitally savvy, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support the creation and editing of written content for digital channels, including social media posts, email campaigns, website copy, and campaign materials. 

  • Research industry trends in energy, sustainability, and innovation to support content. development and marketing campaigns. 

  • Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and client appreciation events. 

  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives, including website updates, email campaigns, social media management, and content publishing. 

  • Design visuals for social media, emails, and presentations using Canva. 

  • Provide general marketing, administrative and project support, including coordinating timelines, organizing assets, and tracking initiatives. 

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and other teams to support seamless campaign execution. 
     

Required Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Recent graduate with up to 2 years of experience gained through internships, co-op placements, contract positions, campus leadership, volunteer initiatives, freelance projects, or early-career marketing roles. 

  • Experience supporting digital campaigns, content creation, social media, events, website management, or marketing operations is considered an asset. 

  • Experience using marketing and business tools such as Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Exposure to CRM or marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot is considered an asset. 

  • Experience or knowledge of email marketing and email marketing platforms is considered an asset. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy, tone, and detail. 

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and marketing techniques. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, seek and apply feedback, and contribute positively within a team environment. 

  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar platforms to support research, content development, workflow efficiency, or problem-solving is considered an asset. Candidates should be prepared to explain how they review and validate AI-generated work. 

Term Details, Compensation & Work Location

  • Term: 4 month contract
  • Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity
  • Schedule: 40-hour work week 
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in-office
