Position Summary

We are seeking a Field and Event Marketing Specialist to support the execution of our events and association strategy, with a focus on coordination, logistics, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for managing a high-volume calendar of industry events and ensuring seamless execution across pre-event, during-event, and post-event activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will bring strong coordination and communication skills, thrive in execution-focused roles, and are confident working across teams to deliver successful, well-run events that support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Pre-Event Planning and Process Building
  • Build, document, and continuously improve a repeatable pre-event playbook covering selection, budgeting, sponsorship negotiation, logistics, and timelines.
  • Manage the event calendar and association memberships, ensuring alignment with sales priorities, target accounts, and corporate go-to-market themes.
  • Coordinate booth design, collateral, giveaways, shipping, and on-site logistics for every event.
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager - Digital to brief and launch pre-event campaigns (email, LinkedIn, web landing pages) that drive meeting bookings and booth traffic.
  • Own seller registration administration, including travel coordination, badge management, hotel blocks, and pre-event briefings.

During-Event Execution
  • Serve as the on-site lead for Rodan's presence, ensuring booth setup, staffing schedules, and customer engagement run smoothly.
  • Capture leads in real time and ensure clean handoff into HubSpot with appropriate tagging and source attribution.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, customer dinners, and association networking activities.
  • Troubleshoot logistical issues on the ground and maintain clear communication with sales leadership throughout the event.

Post-Event Process and Analytics
  • Execute post-event lead follow-up workflows in partnership with the Marketing Manager - Digital ensuring all leads are nurtured through HubSpot within agreed SLAs.
  • Build and maintain event scorecards measuring cost per lead, pipeline generated, meetings booked, and influenced revenue.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs with sales and marketing stakeholders and translate insights into improvements to the playbook.
  • Maintain a central repository of event learnings, vendor contacts, and best practices.

Association Management
  • Manage Rodan's relationships with key industry associations, including membership renewals, speaking opportunities, sponsorship packages, and committee participation.
  • Identify new association partnerships that align with target buyer personas and verticals.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with at least 3 years focused on event marketing, trade shows, or field marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience building repeatable event processes and playbooks, not just executing one-off events.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or a comparable MAP) for lead capture, list management, and campaign attribution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent events and deadlines.
  • Comfort with analytics: pulling event ROI data, building scorecards, and presenting results to leadership.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% during peak event seasons.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience marketing into the industries Rodan serves.
  • Prior experience managing association memberships, sponsorships, or industry committee participation.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM hygiene best practices.
