They will be working cross-functionally with Sales and RevOps, have a strong focus on data quality and performance measurement, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
HubSpot Ownership and Roadmap
- Serve as the technical and strategic owner of HubSpot as Rodan's marketing automation platform (MAP).
- Build and maintain a progressive HubSpot roadmap, with each phase tied to a specific business case outcome (e.g., improved lead scoring lifting MQL-to-SQL conversion, lifecycle automation reducing manual sales touches).
- Architect and maintain lead scoring, lifecycle stages, list segmentation, properties, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure clean data hygiene, GDPR/CAN-SPAM compliance, and proper sync with the CRM.
- Partner with sales operations to ensure marketing-to-sales handoffs and attribution are accurate and trusted.
Email Campaign Execution
- Plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns supporting both inbound (nurture, content promotion, webinar invites) and outbound (sales-led sequences, ABM plays) motions.
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
- Partner with the Field and Event Marketing Specialist to deploy pre-event, during-event, and post-event email campaigns.
- Report on email performance against KPIs and translate findings into the next quarter's plan.
Web Content Distribution and SEO/AEO
- Publish and maintain content on the Rodan corporate website, ensuring every page is properly tagged for traditional SEO (meta tags, schema, internal linking, keyword targeting).
- Optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) so Rodan content surfaces in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and similar engines.
- Maintain a structured content taxonomy and tagging system that supports both human navigation and machine discoverability.
- Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and citation rates in AI engines, and report monthly on trends.
- Partner with content creators to ensure new assets are published with the technical foundations to perform.
LinkedIn Corporate Page
- Own the content calendar and distribution for the Rodan corporate LinkedIn page.
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts aligned with corporate themes, event amplification, and content launches.
- Engage with comments, manage community moderation, and partner with executives on thought leadership amplification.
- Report on follower growth, engagement rate, impressions, and click-throughs, and continuously refine content strategy based on performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B digital marketing experience, with deep hands-on ownership of a marketing automation platform (HubSpot strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to build a MAP roadmap that ties technical work to business case outcomes, not just feature adoption.
- Strong email marketing skills, including segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability best practices, and lifecycle automation.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (technical SEO, on-page, schema markup) and emerging AEO/GEO practices.
- Experience managing a corporate LinkedIn page, including content planning, publishing, and analytics.
- Comfort with HTML/CSS basics, CMS platforms, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot Reports).
Preferred Qualifications
- HubSpot certifications (Marketing Software, Inbound, Email Marketing).
- Experience integrating HubSpot with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot CRM.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager for paid amplification.
- Background working in close partnership with field/event marketing teams.
Rodan Benefits and Compensation Include:
- Competitive compensation package and performance-based incentives
- Comprehensive health and wellness benefits
